The service works on all smartphones and gives creators full control over the experience they offer their fans. By transforming physical moments into meaningful connections, TapTunes™ helps artists own their audience instead of relying on algorithms.
How do the Tap Music Cards work?
The Tap Music Card uses a built-in NFC chip and a QR code to instantly connect fans to your content. A fan taps their smartphone on the card or scans the QR code, and it opens your custom media player. No app is needed.

Do fans need to download an app?
No. Fans can tap or scan and your content plays instantly in their phone’s native browser. There’s no app to download, no accounts to create, and it works on virtually any smartphone.
How many songs can I include?
Up to 12 MP3 tracks per card release.
What audio formats do you accept?
MP3 is recommended. Convert WAV or AIFF to MP3 at 320 kbps before upload.
What artwork specs do you recommend?
Square cover art, 1200×1200 pixels PNG or JPG, high contrast, minimal small text.
How do I send you my music and artwork?
You can choose one of two easy options;
Upload files to Dropbox- After your order is placed, we will email you a secure link to your dedicated Dropbox folder. You can upload your cover art and song files directly to that folder.
Mail in your CD or flash drive- We will send you a self-addressed, prepaid mailer. Simply place your CD or flash drive inside and mail it back to us. Once received, we will scan the cover artwork and upload your songs to our patent-pending music player.
What does it cost?
The Starter Pack is $99 and includes 25 cards. Reorders are as low as $2.75 per card.
Can I sell my TapTunes™ Tap Music Cards, and how much should I charge?
Yes. TapTunes™ cards are instant tap-and-play products that let fans access music and exclusive content immediately. You set the price, and most artists charge between $10 and $20 per card or bundle them with other merchandise. You keep the margin.
What’s the turnaround time?

Is there a minimum order?
Starter Pack includes 25 cards. Reorders can scale to your needs (small runs to large tours).
Can I do multiple designs or editions?
Yes. Make limited editions for tour dates, cities, or special artwork and reorder anytime.
Do TapTunes cards work offline?
Tapping requires a data connection. Most venues have coverage, or venue Wi-Fi can be used.
What if a card doesn’t tap?
Try a slower tap, hold for a second, move to the phone’s NFC hotspot, or use the fallback QR code.
Are the cards durable?
Yes. They are more durable than discs with no scratches or skipping. Keep them away from strong magnets and extreme heat.
